Great! My mission of the Walk and videos is to motivate as many liberty-oriented people to move to New Hampshire as soon as possible.

i’m a portland local who just moved to NH this past year with the FSP. i thought it interesting that coming into portland you mentioned the light rail as tax payer funded; however, you didn’t mention the “sky tram”. as far as the light rail system goes, i think it’s actually a good system, because it’s MAINLY (not fully, which it should be) a local government funded project based on the passing of a local vote which requested this service. not just the 4 light rail systems which create easy transportation between downtown, 3 major nearby cities, the airport, and offers free transportation from lloyd district to PGE park; but buses for everywhere in between. the far WORSE “public transport” system is the recently added “sky tram” from SW portland (near a hotel and the waterfront), to the children’s hospital on the hill. first off, the only people who would EVER need to use this are the doctors who live in the SW area. however, because they lobbied for this tram to be “offered to the public” (for the cost of $4 per trip, which covers about 15 blocks up a hill), millions of tax payer dollars were used to build it. we actually figured out that it would be cheaper to purchase each doctor who uses this tram a private limo ride to and from the hospital for the next 50 years.

which is one of many reasons i left. i love portland. it’s my home, and it’s an AMAZING city. but all it’s charm can’t stop it’s corruption… mainly driven by municipal enforcement strictly for revenue rather than safety. it’s sad.
