The GPS Visualizer [1] web app is supposed to be able to read Forerunner files (or the export from the companion software). GPS Visualizer imports GPS data and then generates a map using a few different output formats including Google Maps and JPEG, PNG or SVG files. I created an example using the KML file I created.
