Did you check out those walking shoes from First Street.com - they might be the solution for Brooke…

And you left a cliff hanger in this video - you didn’t tell us what your plan for increasing distance is! That means “we” will have to tune in again!!

  2. Will Buchanan Says:

It looks like they might prevent against stress fractures and such, but I don’t see anything about preventing blisters (which has been her problem so far).

I didn’t intend to leave a cliffhanger! I just meant that we’ll increase distance by a small percentage every day, which will get us up to our max in a few weeks.

I take it Brooke is the handy one. She gets to do all the repairs. I need to take lessons. Give her the camera so we can see your butt sometimes!

The fire hydrants my be in an area that was annexed and the town must provide services to annexed areas. Doesn’t happen here in NH. No land to annex!

We are starting a pool to guess where you will winter. I did the math.

  4. Will Buchanan Says:

Hey, you haven’t seen my calculations. Don’t doubt the power of compound interest!

Can I get in on the pool? ;)

Here is an updated view of the WFL on Google Maps with Day 29.

BTW, you mentioned in an earlier post that you’re using a Garmin Forerunner. The GPS Visualizer [1] web app is supposed to be able to read Forerunner files (or the export from the companion software).

GPS Visualizer imports GPS data and then generates a map using a few different output formats including Google Maps and JPEG, PNG or SVG files. I created an example using the KML file I created. [2]

It’s cool to see our progress as we walk along. Thanks again!

  8. Kat Kanning Says:

LOL Cathleen. We were noticing the same things :) We get a lot of scenes of Brook’s butt and she’s quite the handyman.

  9. Will Buchanan Says:

Thanks BDP, I’ll check that out.
