Oh, I’m homesick for those wide-open spaces! But not the wind…and Grandma would hate the wind. I like the lemon yellow flowers - and the shadows holding hands.

Each day you’re creeping up on the mileage. Sorry you’re still experiencing blisters, Brooke. However, you take it in stride (no pun intended) - you’re a true Liberty Walker!

What is John up to these days, besides counting down the hours until Yuka arrives?

I wouldn’t care for the wind either. But then wide open spaces don’t appeal to me either. NH is comforting in its hills and trees. Intimate.

Foot footage! Sorry about the blisters. Your plan to make 30 miles a day sounds like it may be hard to sustain.

Terrific comments about choices. Reminds me of the opportunity wedge concept: every decision large and small carries the opportunity cost of the paths not taken. Opportunities tend to narrow with each choice.
    Choose wisely!

Oh, and we have America’s Stonehenge here in NH. The first summer we were here, we visited it on the summer solstice and participated in a pagan ceremony. That was fun!

John is doing a lot of online work mostly, but also a lot of reading.

I like that concept Cathleen! It makes each decision seem even more important. :P

    Thanks BDP!
